We are looking for a 

Vendor Manager for the Risk Platform (m/f/d) 

(unlimited, full-time) Join our team at our location in Berlin, Verl, and Luxembourg 

 

As the Vendor Manager you will be working in the product management team that is responsible for developing and operating Riverty’ s central customer Risk Platform. 

This platform is integrated with various third-party vendors that are used to fulfill specific steps in our operational processes, either via backend APIs or by providing dedicated user interfaces. 

Your role will include a variety of tasks required for the management of these vendors, ranging from relationship management over contract management and cost controlling to market research. 

 

What will be your challenge in the role:  

Manage the relationships with the service providers of the Risk Platform throughout the entire lifecycle  Lead / support contract negotiations  Coordinate the internal procurement process with relevant stakeholders  Conduct market research to identify potential new partners and benchmark existing vendors against their peers   Compile reports on performance, SLA compliance and other key metrics, incl. processes to enforce penalties in case of incompliance  Contribute to incident handling and process improvements  Continuously improve processes for invoice reconciliation and cost controlling, and develop cost forecast models  Establish and share best practices on vendor management 

 

What you need to succeed in the role:  

Strong communication and relationship management skills  Experience in contract negotiations and vendor selection processes  Experience working for a regulated entity in the financial industry  Knowledge in the areas of data protection, information security and regulatory outsourcing  Basic knowledge of modern, cloud-based software systems and their integration via APIs  Fluency in English as the main working language, German is a plus
