**Department Details**
While this position is primarily remote, some in-person attendance will be required for trainings, team meetings, or special projects. These on-site responsibilities will be scheduled in advance.
**Job Summary**
Oversees the relationships and performance of our third-party vendors to ensure they meet the company's operational goals and compliance standards. As a key player in our vendor management process, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize vendor contracts, evaluate product and service performance, and implement strategies that drive operational efficiency and cost savings. Serves as the primary point of contact for vendors, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise and fostering strong professional relationships. Help streamline vendor onboarding processes and work on audits and assessments to pinpoint areas for improvement. Manage relationships with third-party vendors ensuring compliance with service agreements. Conducts regular evaluations of vendor performance through metrics and audits. Assists in the negotiation and renewal of vendor contracts to ensure favorable terms. Collaborates with internal teams to identify vendor needs and opportunities for improvement. Develops and maintains a database of vendor information and performance metrics. Mitigates risks associated with vendor partnerships by implementing monitoring processes. Prepares and presents reports on vendor performance and relevant insights to management.
**Qualifications**
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required.
Experience in vendor management or procurement roles, preferably in the insurance industry. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of managing successful vendor contracts.
