**Job Title** Vendor Management Lead **Job Description Summary** The purpose of the Vendor Management Director is to develop partnerships with the internal execution teams within Facility Management and suppliers to ensure suppliers are effectively executing services. This role manages a team that supports training, governance, communications, forecasting, and data management within the work order system. **Job Description** Responsible for the following: **Business Influence** + Develops and maintains strong relationships with regional execution teams + Creates a unified team environment and team goals and ensures all stakeholders understand the connection between the overall business objectives and the Procurement strategy + Drives for results by consistently achieving goals and pushing to complete tasks by their deadlines + Develops and delivers communications with clarity **Strategy & Standards** + Leads a team that reinforces and maintains standards, processes and templates that support the delivery of vendor management activities + Drives innovation and process improvement to reduce costs and improve performance **Continuous Improvement** + Champions, and implements continuous improvement opportunities in Vendor Management’s processes, procedures and systems + Escalates and communicates proposed process changes **Core Responsibilities** + Demonstrates continuous learning and maintains a highly skilled and engaged workforce by aligning resource plans with business objectives; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; motivating teams; preparing individuals for growth opportunities and advancement; staying current with industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices; providing guidance when difficult decisions need to be made + Drives the execution of multiple work streams by identifying customer and operational needs; analyzing resources, costs, and forecasts; gaining cross-functional support for business plans and priorities; translating business strategy into actionable business requirements; obtaining and distributing resources; setting standards and measuring progress; removing obstacles that impact performance; guiding performance and developing contingency plans accordingly + Drives data governance within work order system to ensure accurate schedules are in place to support supplier performance and forecasting + Uphold the mission and standards of the firm and support firm-wide initiatives + Ensure implemented programs adhere to legal, compliance, and audit requirements JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS Education: + Bachelor’s degree Previous Experience: + Must have at least 10 years of relevant experience in a corporate procurement role + Proven experience in a leadership role building executive relationships and influencing strategy Targeted Competencies + Personal flexibility + Organizational savvy + Effective Communication + Business acumen + Creative problem solver + Crisis management + Decision making + Leading and inspiring others + Corrigo experience + Advanced within Excel Cushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
