Job Description

The Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Representative is responsible for supporting assigned customers by acting as a key communication link between customers and internal departments, while ensuring inventory levels meet contractual requirements. This role involves daily review of open orders, ongoing supply chain analysis, monthly metrics reporting, and annual customer forecasting, as well as coordinating with internal teams to complete quality analysis and corrective actions. The VMI Representative must work independently and collaboratively, maintain accurate data through Excel uploads and ERP systems, follow company safety and quality procedures, and deliver error-free work in a fast-paced aerospace environment focused on customer service and operational excellence.

ResponsibilitiesAct as a key communication link between customers and internal departments.Ensure inventory levels meet contractual requirements.Perform daily review of open orders and ongoing supply chain analysis.Conduct monthly metrics reporting and annual customer forecasting.Coordinate with internal teams to complete quality analysis and corrective actions.Maintain accurate data through Excel uploads and ERP systems.Follow company safety and quality procedures.Deliver error-free work in a fast-paced environment.Essential SkillsProficient in Supply Chain, Inventory, and Manufacturing.Strong Excel skills and SAP system knowledge (highly preferred).Excellent customer service skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflow.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Commitment to excellence and high standards.Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.Exceptional attention to detail with an error-free work product.Demonstrated organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications2 years prior experience in Customer Service preferred.Extensive experience with implementation of corrective action programs.0-3 years of aerospace fastener experience.High School Diploma or equivalent required.Intermediate Excel skills.Additional education and/or related training is a plus.Work Environment

The position is fully onsite Monday through Friday, with a potential alternative work schedule (AWS) during the contract, which will be determined during the interview. The schedule may be a 9/80 with every other Friday off. Candidates should be open to either a Monday through Friday or AWS schedule. The position is temporary and will not convert to permanent. The shift is likely 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM for training, but may change to 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM for customer support. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr.
