Vendor Managed Material Planner - Hybrid

**Job Description**
Hybrid: Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
Working within a team of procurement professionals, the candidate will be responsible for managing our material pipeline for Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). Plans, schedules and manages the efficient movement of material from pipeline to production. The VMI planner provides forecast reports for firm requirements to supplier partners and integrates their feedback into scheduling tools to ensure the material pipeline aligns with BAE need dates. Interfaces with Program Material Planners and Buyer to identify potential gaps in demand and works to resolve them, requesting escalation from commodity leadership as needed. Participate in the local electronics, fastener, and chemical commodity teams to ensure alignment with sector and local strategic initiatives. Areas of responsibility for Vendor Managed Inventory include:
+ Various electronics and fasteners being pipelined by preferred distributors using MRP demand with various methods of delivery (On Site Store, Auto Replenishment, Scan and Fill).
+ Process chemicals through corporate Master Service Agreement utilizing min-max and on demand ordering from the manufacturing Value Streams.
+ Manage min-max miscellaneous material for stockroom replenishments.
+ Managing bin sizes for the shop floor for the above using forecast, history, and stakeholder input.
+ Coordinate shop coat service agreement by working with the Shop Coat Champions in each Value Stream.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Candidate should have a background in logistics (Material Planners or Schedulers).
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
+ Must have a strong sense of urgency with regard to ensuring our pipeline of materials is intact to support execution of program schedules.
+ Excellent communication skills and relationship building with stakeholders.
+ Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or in related field
+ APICS CPIM or similar certifications
+ Experience with ORACLE.
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $51273 - $87164

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
