Vendor Account Manager, Cross Border
As an Vendor Account Manager- Imports you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver the Importation selection strategy to customers. The Cross Border team is looking for smart, customer centric, driven, and analytical candidate to develop and implement demand generating initiatives from deals and promotions to catalog quality. You will interface with stakeholders across Retail and Finance while being responsible for multiple aspects of growing international selection for customers. You will engage directly with multiple internal teams to optimize and grow the importation business for global vendors on Amazon.

You will utilize a wide range of skills and work across major functional areas such as, selection, catalogue quality, buying, inventory management, finance, operations, to drive the performance of vendor partners at Amazon. In this role you will be focused on driving numerous aspects of managing the customer relationships with vendors.

You will conceive, create and analyze a wide range of deal activities to grow the vendor’s traffic, brand awareness, customer conversion, and revenue on Amazon.
The role offers a unique opportunity to work at the most innovative online retailer and to develop strong functional skills in online merchandising/ marketing, buying, planning and forecasting, pricing, and business analysis.


Key job responsibilities
• Owning forecasting, monitoring, understanding and reporting on events along with responsibility for driving strategic promotions to achieve business objectives
• Proactively negotiating promotional opportunities, and other business inputs for the vendor — autonomously
• Conducting pricing and ROI analysis and making recommendations for initiatives that optimize profit margin
• Guaranteeing great catalog quality for international selection, focusing on improving sales conversion and customer experience.
• Partnering with the Cross Border Vendor Managers and Selection Program Managers to build successful demand generation strategies and growth plans
• Success will be measured by the performance of your input metrics and impact on creating a great customer experience for buying consumers.
• Optimizing the online presence and content of each product on the brand's portfolio
• Developing and executing marketing plans in order to drive awareness and purchases for the brand
• Driving cross-category initiatives to improve operational process and deliver results
