Vehicle Reconditioning Manager

Join a high-performing team that’s committed to excellence and earning customers for life!We’re seeking a detail-oriented, results-driven Reconditioning Manager to lead our used vehicle reconditioning process. This role ensures all pre-owned vehicles meet quality standards and are front-line ready in a timely manner. You’ll collaborate with our Service and Parts departments to support operational goals and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities + Verify all applicable vehicle information, i.e. vehicle inspection sheet, correct equipment, etc. + Take vehicle to the Service department for Smog, Safety, and Detail. + Inspect repair orders daily for legibility, accuracy and legality. Vehicle cycle time should be 72 hours or less. + Monitor and maintain front line inventory condition. + Resolve customer requests, questions and concerns in a professional, friendly, and prompt manner. + Ensure that all manufacturer policies and procedures are followed. + Inspect and maintain the cleanliness, organization and appearance of all service areas in accordance with state and federal OSHA laws. ​ Qualifications + Previous automotive dealership used car service department experience + Ability to operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions + Organizational & Customer Service skills + Time Management – ability to prioritize workload and manage one’s own time + Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence We offer best-in-class industry benefits + Competitive pay + Medical, Dental and Vision Plans + Paid Holidays & PTO + Short and Long-Term Disability + Paid Life Insurance + 401(k) Retirement Plan + Employee Stock Purchase Plan + Lithia Learning Center + Vehicle Purchase Discounts + Wellness Programs ​High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
