The Operability & Commissioning – Control Room Manager [Senior] is primarily responsible for data analytics and preparing data for project status reports. They play a crucial role in ensuring that department reports are clear and consistent for all status communicators. Along with the entire Operability and Commissioning Team, they will strive to improve vehicle-level operability by promptly identifying and resolving issues and updating vehicles with the latest compatible software configurations.
Responsibilities also include:
• Data analytics for Commissioning and Operability
• Develop KPI / Generate Reports / Store in Repository
• Pillar Management / Updates
• Perform Workload vs Workforce Analysis
• Develop operational templates for budget, workload, workforce, etc. and ensure that they are used consistently
• Support Archetype Definition / Management
• Support Readiness Reviews: Maturity, Issues, Compatibility, Workarounds, etc.
• Analyze KPI and propose efficiencies
• Submit tools changes to support key performance indicator (KPI) requirements
• Manage 1-5 external personnel
• Support O&C Project Status Reports
• Support Tool Development
• Support Management of Department SharePoint: Processes, SW Repository, Data, Checkout Lists, etc.
• Support Supplier Evaluations
• Support Indirect Budget Management
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree – Electrical, Mechanical, Computer or related degree field.
• 8 years of experience in electrical/electronics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to conduct meetings and working groups in English.
• General automotive knowledge.
• Understanding of electricity/electronics and electrical/electronic architectures.
• Familiarity with industrialization and R&D processes and tools.
• Excellent proficiency in computer tools (MS Access, Visual Basic, Excel, SharePoint, etc.).
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts.
• Knowledge of Software developer foundations – Python, Java Script, HTML, C, C++, etc.
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Basic knowledge of software and modeling concepts.
• Independent leader and self-starter, focused on triage and synthesis.
• Ability to work well with a team of experts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Hold a valid driver's license, willing to drive and test vehicles.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Software developer foundations – Python, Java Script, HTML, C, C++, etc.
• Proficiency in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts.
• Demonstrated experience with electrical debugging tools such as a digital multi-meter, oscilloscope, current probes, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Demonstrated experience performing vehicle and system level trouble shooting/root cause analysis and experience performing circuits analysis on the vehicle sub-systems.
• Knowledge of embedded diagnostics and tools for the Integration, Validation, Industrialization of EE systems.
• Certified problem-solving skills (Reactive Quality Green Belt or Reactive Quality Black Belt).
