Job Title: VDC Specialist
Job Description
As a Job Specialist, you will be responsible for providing models and documents necessary to complete the scope as determined with VDC/BIM leadership and project teams. You will be tasked with assembling 3D content modeled by others and modeling any content not provided, while maintaining a productive and efficient BIM process. Creating and maintaining clear and effective project documentation, such as meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and constraint logs, will be an integral part of your role. Additionally, you will support operations with the RFI process for BIM-related items, maintain working relationships with subcontractors and project teams, and assume responsibility for learning VDC processes and standards.
Responsibilities
+ Provide models and documents necessary to complete project scope determined by VDC leadership and project teams.
+ Assemble 3D content modeled by others and model any content not provided.
+ Maintain a productive and efficient BIM process.
+ Create and maintain effective project documentation, including meeting agendas, minutes, and constraint logs.
+ Support operations with the RFI process for BIM-related items.
+ Maintain working relationships with subcontractors and project teams.
+ Learn and apply VDC processes and standards to assigned projects.
+ Read and comprehend construction documents and project BIM requirements, applying them to VDC processes.
+ Incorporate design updates into project models.
+ Analyze construction documents and models for errors and omissions, making corrections as necessary.
+ Support operations with self-perform model management and layout.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in BIM, MS Office Word, Autodesk, and Revit.
+ Ability to perform work accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a construction-related field.
+ Minimum of 2 years of construction or related experience.
+ Minimum of 2 years of BIM-related experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Tekla is a plus.
+ Knowledge in Revit MEP, Design, and Construction.
+ Demonstrated expertise in managing VDC processes specifically for self-perform concrete projects.

This position is based in an office environment, offering a professional setting to collaborate with project teams and subcontractors.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.21 - $48.08/hr.
