Description
Summary
Performs duties directly involved with a variety of specialized technical procedures applying ionizing radiation or other forms of energy. Must have a sound knowledge of all procedures being performed in the endovascular operating room (EVOR). Maintains the equipment and supplies in the EVOR. Operates all equipment according to manufacturers’ specifications.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology
EXPERIENCE:
Two (2) years' experience as an interventional radiologic technologist or Cardiovascular registered is preferred, previous endovascular procedures training a plus.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
ARRT registered, Florida license, and American Heart Association BLS certification required.
