As an Valve Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for:
 

Assembling valves, including all required preparation and sub-assembly work, to the highest quality standards using approved manufacturing procedures.Interpreting written specifications, Manufacturing instructions, and use of standard measuring instruments.Using small hand tools, operate material handling equipment including forklifts, cranes, hoists, pallet handlersParticipating in team based improvement activities to improve safety, quality and productivity.Performing valve final inspection to the respective procedure, troubleshoot and resolve valve leakage issues.Adhering to Environmental, Health and Safety policy ; 5S ; and other requirements relating to care of equipment and P.P.E

To be successful in this role you will:
 

Have an ITE technical qualifications preferably in mechanical engineering or its equivalent.Have experience in mechanical testing in an assembly / production / industrial environment.Have past valve assembly & test experience will be an added advantage.Be proficient in Microsoft Office software to generate test reports and general computer skills to perform valve calibration.Have 5-8 yrs experience in mechanical manufacturing , knowledge in machining
