We’re looking for passionate Residential Valuers to join our dynamic team in Canberra. We offer a supportive team culture where knowledge sharing across borders creates superior outcomes. Develop your career with industry experts who will transform promising valuers into respected authorities.

You’ll be exposed to significant valuation assignments that shape investment decisions as well as our cutting-edge technology. Work more efficiently, produce more data-informed valuations, and deliver enhanced value to clients beyond traditional valuation approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

Building and maintaining relationships with key clients, providing expert advice

Conducting accurate and independent valuations of residential properties

Completing site inspections and detailed property assessments

Preparing comprehensive valuation reports that meet industry standards and client requirements

Applying appropriate valuation methodologies (direct comparison, income, cost approaches)

Ensuring final reports meet all necessary IVS / API / IFRS reporting requirements

Staying current with property market trends and dynamics

Monitoring sales evidence and maintaining comparable databases

Applying JLL's proprietary technology and data platforms in valuation processes

Continuously improve valuation methodologies and approaches

Sharing market knowledge and insights with colleagues

Contributing to the collaborative culture of the valuation team

Obtain and maintain professional accreditation (CPV) and continuing education requirements

Key skills required:

CPV Qualified.

Knowledge of property valuation industry.

Analytical skills.

Numerical/financial acumen.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Confident user of Word and Excel. 

Able to pick up and learn JLL internal systems and processes.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Confident in liaising with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
