Our team in Industrial Group is looking for a Value Stream Resource Manager to join them. You will report to the Value Stream Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Christiansburg, Virginia. 

To be considered for Value Stream Resource Manager, here's what you'll need to bring with you: 

Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school, OR equivalent combination of industry related education and experience. 

Experience in a manufacturing environment including an understanding of process flow and performing to internal and external production demands. 

Comprehension of production schedules including lead times and cycle times and the ability to transform into resource loading and capacity constraints. 

Lead and Coaching mentality demonstrated through employee development. 

Employee performance management including conflict resolution. 

Manage a diverse team and arrange individual needs within overall team needs throughout the manufacturing cycle (e.g. training). 

Support and personal commitment and representation of the Moog culture and philosophy 

This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. 

As a Value Stream Resource Manager, you will: 

Support resource loading management; work with the Value Stream Manager to understand required production demands and identify capacity constraints to support internal and external customer deliverables. 

Develop and maintain a workforce model including demand levels, scope of skills required, distribution of personnel, and development opportunities to achieve successful value stream staffing. 

Directly manage production personnel and perform associated managerial responsibilities. 

Lead employee development process including career planning, skill development, and progression planning to support employee and team goals. Embrace the Leading and Coaching mentality and role. 

Partner with the Value Stream Manager and Function to ensure manufacturing and personnel controls are established to provide quality, safe, and results. 

Support and contribute to the lean manufacturing model. 

Measure and reports machine efficiency and takes action to maximize output. 

Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules to avoid production downtime. 

Make recommendations to the value stream to promote improvement through the elimination of waste.

Salary Range Transparency:

Christiansburg, VA $57,000.00–$70,000.00 Annually
