Job DescriptionAre you passionate about quality and driven to ensure the highest standards in product development and production? As a Value Stream Quality Assurance Engineer within Bosch Home Comfort's Combustion Solutions product development teams, you will play a vital role in safeguarding product quality, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement across our value chain.
Your contribution to something big:
Lead and develop a team of Quality Technicians, fostering their skills and ensuring the effective implementation of quality processes within the value stream.
Ensure the quality and product safety of Bosch Home Comfort activities by verifying all applicable standards and regulations, and related process conformity by systematic follow-up of defects and application of risk management.
Supervise the implementation of quality processes in the development of new products and guarantee the best practices implementation in development of new products and process.
Contribute to the achievement of departmental and corporate goals by implementing and following up on specific goals aligned with the strategic plan.
Coach and coordinate problem-solving activities for non-compliant products across the entire Bosch value chain, ensuring customer satisfaction and product safety.
Provide expert consultancy on product and process Quality, and Q-methods, to support informed decision-making according to internal processes.
Participate in TTM (Time To Market) projects during the industrialization phase, ensuring seamless integration of quality processes.Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
Education:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering or a related field.Experience:Experience in Quality Assurance within product development and production processes.
Know-How:Proficient in using and coaching support departments on 8D tools and other problem-solving methodologies.Knowledge of value stream mapping and lean manufacturing principles.Familiarity with risk management methodologies (e.g., FMEA).Knowledge of assembly and industrial manufacturing processes.
Languages:Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and verbal) is mandatory.
Working Style and Methods:Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
