As the Value Stream Operations Lead, you will act as the critical link between the product line and key internal functions—Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Materials—as well as internal and external customers. You’ll drive alignment across these stakeholders to ensure operational execution meets business and customer expectations. Success in this role hinges on your ability to lead through influence, solve complex problems, and build strong, cross-functional relationships. You will serve as the primary point of contact for the Value Stream’s operational performance, providing clear, timely, and accurate communication between plant sites and Value Stream leadership. Your focus will include coordinating manufacturing and assembly activities, enabling process and product improvements, and ensuring seamless flow of customer and program requirements throughout the organization. **What You Will Do** + Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of manufacturing, assembly, and test activities to ensure on-time hardware delivery—supporting both new production, production returns, and aftermarket demands + Integrate customer needs and deliveries with the overall Operations execution plan + Formulate and drive plans, root cause and corrective actions, recovery plans and projections, identifying and managing action owners to resolution, based on analysis of program metrics and status + Develop and maintain status charts, using SAP to obtain hardware status information, working with operations to coordinate hardware flow, and running various status meetings + Utilize business operating systems, such as SAP (ERP/MRP system), Configuration Management, Program Office and Customer communications, and basic Production planning principles + Utilize Gemba / Tier meetings to provide two-way dialogue bringing forward value stream needs while highlighting critical issues impacting plant site ability to perform + Continuous communication with Operations Leads to work and remove issues preventing production execution + Work with Operations Center Managers (OCM) and Cell Leads for production questions, prioritization requests and cell recovery commits + Run Line of Balances, X-Charts and open Sales Order reports, as needed + Support and assist in prioritization of requirement within the plant site; e.g., FAI’s, QNs, etc + Aid in defining delivery requirements to the plantsite and provide support to meet on-time deliveries **Qualifications You Must Have** + Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience **or** an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience **Qualifications We Prefer** + Working experience within the aerospace industry or similar manufacturing environment. + Prior experience managing projects/programs involving electronic components, systems, or manufacturing processes strongly preferred. + Experience supporting military proposals is preferred. + Experience with new product introduction and development efforts. **What We Offer** Some of our competitive benefits package includes:  + Medical, dental, and vision insurance + Three weeks of vacation for newly hired employees + Generous 401(k) plan that includes employer matching funds and separate employer retirement contribution, including a Lifetime Income Strategy option + Tuition reimbursement program + Student Loan Repayment Program + Life insurance and disability coverage + Optional coverages you can buy pet insurance, home and auto insurance, additional life and accident insurance, critical illness insurance, group legal, ID theft protection + Birth, adoption, parental leave benefits + Ovia Health, fertility, and family planning + Adoption Assistance          + Autism Benefit + Employee Assistance Plan, including up to 10 free counseling sessions + Healthy You Incentives, wellness rewards program + Doctor on Demand, virtual doctor visits + Bright Horizons, child and elder care services + Teladoc Medical Experts, second opinion program +  And more!  We make modern flight possible for millions of travelers and our military every second.  Our major product lines are on-board virtually every aircraft flying.
