This role is key to ensuring our value stream operates at its best, consistently meeting targets
across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity (SQDIP). You'll be instrumental in
developing standardised ways of working, driving continuous improvement, and fostering the
growth and success of everyone in the team.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

Safety
● Ensuring safe and hygienic conditions at subordinate workplaces and taking care of
health and safety prevention.
● Ensure safety instructions are understood and followed by all team members.
● Achieving goals in the field of work safety.
● Ensuring on-the-job instructions for subordinate employees, with particular emphasis on
aspects of Occupational Health and Safety.
● Systematic auditing of areas in terms of health and safety, entries to the safety pyramid
regarding the observed risks and implementation of defined activities, implementation of
tasks resulting from HSS (Hiab Safety Score)
● Participate and lead 6S cross-department audit and ensure 6S implementation standards
are developed and maintained.


Quality
● Achievement of objectives in the field of quality of manufactured products.
● Ensuring quality standards and improvement targets are met and maintained by
supervised team.


Delivery
● Achieving delivery and quality goals to the customer.
● Delivery of product within the value stream in line with the PSC demand schedule & KPIs
targets for the team.


Inventory
● Achieving cost and inventory goals.
● Ensure all non conforming material is adjusted adequately maintaining accurate stock
levels.
● Caring for the company's property.


Productivity
● Implementation and maintenance of Work Standardization in the subordinate area to
increase effectiveness.
● Increase in implemented improvement ideas (Kaizen), problem-solving, and training
● Account for production losses and improve inefficiencies.


People
● Setting goals and organising the work of subordinate employees and providing resources
necessary to achieve the goals set.
● Development of competences of subordinate employees in accordance with accepted
company standards, regular PDP talks, regular 1:1 meetings, etc.
● Supervision of subordinate employees, in particular in terms of compliance with the
principles like occupational safety, environmental protection, regulations, values, policies
and the Hiab Code of Conduct.
● Reducing absenteeism within the team.
● Promote culture of Lean and 6S and Gemba Leadership.
● Creating and updating job descriptions of subordinate employees in accordance with the
company's standard.
● Care for continuous improvement of the IMS (improvement of process and system
documentation as well as maintaining its continuity and relevance).
● Bring to life each day our HIAB values and demonstrate these behaviors in his / her
leadership style

What you’ll need to succeed

Education:
● Degree calibre preferably engineering or science, or relevant Industry experience.

 

Experience:
● Relevant experience working in a manufacturing environment.
● Lean Manufacturing experienced, green belt certification preferred.
● Working knowledge of Demand and Capacity management processes.
● Proven capability using disciplined problem solving methodologies.
● Experience working with ERP Systems (Infor LN preferred).
● Experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems preferred.
● Min 3 years experience leading teams.

● Working knowledge of a modern Quality Management System, e.g. ISO 9001.
