The Value Management Analyst - Fortify is responsible for analyzing value-based contracts to identify opportunities for improving cost efficiency and quality performance. This role requires strong actuarial skills to identify cost efficiency opportunities combined with expertise in process improvement methodologies to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize value-based care outcomes.
Co-founded by Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters and the University of Virginia Children’s Hospital, Fortify Children’s Health is Virginia’s first pediatric clinically integrated network (CIN). The mission of Fortify is to ensure the optimal health and well-being for every child. Reports to the Sr. Director, Strategic Finance, Contracting & Treasury.
The ideal candidate will have:
•\tExperience working in a health system, large multi-specialty group practice, or similar health care setting preferred.
•\tLicensed actuary preferred (Associate of the Society of Actuaries).
•\tStrong analytical, problem solving, and presentation skills.
•\tStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
•\tExcellent time skills with the ability to plan, set and shift priorities in a fast paced, fluid, and complex health care environment.
•\tDemonstrated ability to manage multiple major assignments simultaneously to completion.
•\tPossesses strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills as well as, the ability to interact with and build collegial relationships with diverse individuals.
•\tDemonstrated ability to work in a team, collaboratively with providers and staff, and interact with multiple levels of internal and external leaders while being able to work independently as necessary.
•\tProficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and other applicable software.
•\tAbility to travel regionally.Demonstrate technical and judgmental skills required to perform value management relative initiatives.Facilitate project management to accomplish value management projects. Facilitate data availability and integration into the performance of the organization. Develop systems to support value management projects.

Position Compensation Range: $57,907.20 - $92,643.20 AnnualMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull < 20lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
