Validation Engineer Location: Hauppauge, NY Employment Type: Permanent Salary Range: $70,000 – $93,000 Industry: Pharmaceutical / Nutraceutical We are looking for a hands-on Validation Engineer to support the qualifications of pharmaceutical equipment and systems. This role is part of a growing team working on a newly launched product line focused on generic inhalants. The position is based in a large facility with multiple buildings and offers a collaborative, business casual environment. Must-Have Skills + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BSME preferred). + At least 1 year of practical experience in validation engineering or equivalent internship/co-op. + Experience with validation protocols and equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ). + Familiarity with GMP/CGMP standards. + Experience in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical environments. Key Responsibilities + Develop and execute qualification protocols and validation reports (IQ/OQ/PQ). + Support vendor qualification activities. + Create and maintain SOPs for equipment operation and preventive maintenance. + Assist in preparing validation deliverables including: + Requirements Specifications + Risk Assessments + Traceability Matrix + Validation Summary Reports + Ensure proper operation, calibration, and maintenance of equipment and systems. Nice-to-Have Skills + Equipment validation experience. + Quality assurance knowledge. + Exposure to vendor qualification processes.
