Position Description:

Must have a government of Canada Security clearance

CGI is seeking a UX Research Lead to define and guide research efforts across complex, multi-team product engagements that includes emerging, data-driven or AI-enabled features.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Set the research strategy for large, multi-phase engagements.
. Plan and conduct mixed-method studies across varied user groups.
. Produce research artefacts such as personas, journeys, blueprints, and insights summaries.
. Investigate how users understand new interaction patterns, including features that draw on dynamic or automated behaviours.
. Build research standards, templates, and consistent practices across teams.
.Mentor researchers and provide guidance where needed.
. Facilitate discussions with senior stakeholders and support evidence-based decisions.
. Ensure inclusive and accessible research methods.
. Work closely with design, product, and technical teams to ensure insights translate into delivery.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. Minimum 7 years of UX research experience.
. Experience researching complex workflows or multi-stakeholder systems.
. Awareness of how automation or AI can influence user expectations and research needs
. Strong facilitation and communication skills.
. Experience leading research in iterative, agile delivery contexts.
. Commitment to inclusive and accessible research practices.
