We are looking for an agile Qualitative User Experience Researcher who understands how to get to the 20% of core issues causing 80% of user problems and will move quickly and provide insights which inspire and helps us deliver an amazing end-to-end product experience.

This position is part of the User Experience team located in Loveland, CO, and will be onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remote from home.  

 

In this role, a typical day will look like: 

 

Conduct qualitative research activities, including customer interviews, field research, on‑site visits, and iterative user testing. 

Select appropriate research methodologies for each project and plan/execute end‑to‑end research (define → plan → conduct → synthesize → present insights). 

Collaborate closely with UX Designers throughout the product lifecycle to test and refine concepts. 

Document and upload findings and provide actionable recommendations to the product team. 

Participate in day trips along the I‑25 corridor to meet customers and conduct research sessions. 

 

The essential requirements of the job include:  

3+ years’ experience in industry conducting applied research on consumer products with a depth in hardware product research. 

3+ years’ experience as a researcher on an end-to-end product - creating research agendas and schedules, defining, and tracking user experience goals and metrics, driving execution on projects, and managing the work of additional resources. 

Hands-on experience with user testing, field research, survey design, online user research and experimentation tools, and usage data analysis. 

Experience with a broad range of research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative techniques) and the right balance between the two.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $118,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
