UX Designer II, AWS Developer Experience
Are you passionate about empowering developers to build innovative solutions on the cloud? The AWS Developer Experience team is seeking a driven, talented, and experienced US Designer to transform the way technical builders learn, experiment, and interact with AWS through their careers.

You will be responsible for bringing new developer-focused experiences to life, and shaping how AWS builds effective relationships with new to cloud and experienced AWS developers. In this role you will partner with product management, engineering, research, and the Developer Experience team to innovate and build an experience for the AWS developer community.

You'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact by developing and launching a community program that inspires and empowers technical builders.

Key job responsibilities

- Understand customers and their needs through market analysis, customer research, and feedback.
- Use business and high level requirements to design the architecture, interface, and interaction flow of new features and experiences.
- Develop personas, customer journey maps, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Facilitate the design process, present and iterate design solutions.
- Continually iterate and evolve the way we design for and learn from our customers.

A day in the life

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. About the team
The AWS Developer Experience team is a technical function focused on engaging with Builders at scale. We are focused on inspiring innovation on the AWS platform, generating preference for AWS products to help accelerate sign ups and service consumption, and driving organic advocacy for AWS.

We deeply understand the journey of Builders, and use these insights to build partnerships and alignment across AWS functions, educate and inspire leadership to engage with Builders, and help transform our go-to-market efforts and services on behalf of our technical customers.
