At CGI, we are looking for a UX Designer to join an international project.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Conversational English (B2 or higher).
- 6+ years of professional experience as a UX Designer, Product Designer, or Interaction Designer.
- Proven ability to design intuitive and visually appealing digital experiences for web and/or mobile.
- Strong proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent UX design tools.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations.
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and detailed user flows that communicate interaction intent.
- Knowledge of design systems, information architecture, and interaction design principles.
- Understanding of frontend development basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process and problem-solving approach.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations.
- Translate research findings into user personas, journey maps, and experience flows.
- Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and interactive design concepts for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with UI Designers, Product Owners, and Developers to ensure design feasibility and implementation fidelity.
- Define and maintain design standards, guidelines, and interaction patterns to ensure product consistency.
- Use data and feedback to iterate and improve design solutions based on performance and usability metrics.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design best practices.
- Present and justify design decisions to stakeholders, clearly articulating rationale and user impact.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with UI design or visual design systems.
- Familiarity with design thinking and Lean UX methodologies.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Knowledge of accessibility design, motion design, or interaction animation principles.
- Familiarity with user analytics tools (Hotjar, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.).
- Exposure to usability testing tools like Maze, UserTesting, or Optimal Workshop.
