Job Description

TITLE:  UX Designer

 

REPORTING TO: Development Manager

 

WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore, India

As a UX designer, you are primarily concerned with how the product feels (emotion). You explore many different approaches to solving a specific user problem.End to end UX design of projects that focus on a user-centered design approachDefine user interaction models for new and existing productsCreate user focused concepts and interactive solutions for a variety of scenarios that address both primary user goals as well as business goalsRefinement, maintenance, and enforcement of our current design guidelines and strategiesWork with other UI/UX team members and project contributors to ensure the consistency and quality of the productDevelop detailed site maps, user flows, wireframes, mockups and other product deliverables to effectively communicate UX designs and product requirements to create world-class interactive experiencesCommunicate UX design solutions to multiple development teams through detailed specificationsCollaborate with peers and leaders to maintain product continuity and effective user experience to align with priorities and creative directionAdeptly handle changing priorities throughout a product life cycle

The ideal candidate should have the following skill set

6 years of professional experience creating design solutions for large-scale projects as an interaction designer or user experience designerDemonstrated knowledge of information architecture, interaction flow, user interface and visual designThe expert skill level in the standard tools of the design trade such as Figma,  Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, XDA solid understanding of web and mobile design principles and best use of current web and mobile technologies and scalable dynamic user interfacesFamiliarity with usability heuristics, relevant HCI literature, and best practice user experiences.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and ability to analytically defend your design decisionsExperience of Bootstrap and other famous GS systems available out thereExperience designing within an agile environmentKnowledge of CSS Preprocessors like Sass and LESSKnowledge of usability and accessibility best practicesStrong organization and time management skillsSolid writing and visual communication skillsAbility to work independently as well as collaborativelyClear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skillsPassion, Integrity, and Energy

PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL CRITERIA:

Eurofins has a strong focus on Performance Management system. This includes quarterly calibrations, half-yearly reviews and annual reviews. The KPIs shall be set and may vary slightly between projects. These will be clearly communicated, documented during the first 30 days of your joining.
