Team and Culture Description:
Reporting to the UX Design Lead, the UX Designer will work closely with design team members; with interdisciplinary stakeholders including engineering, product management to deliver an outstanding user experience. The UX Designer will work closely with our design team of visual designers, content strategists/copywriters, and developers to evolve design solutions and transform the design of our mobile products sold globally with cutting edge thinking, interactive design concepts, technologies and trends. The ideal candidate should be able to conceptualize ideals, find simple ways to think through complex interaction problems, communicate their ideas clearly and effectively, and put design into action quickly to contribute to the design of our mobile experiences. The UX Designer is a collaborative person who can help the team generate ideas, develop concepts including wireframes and prototypes, and confidently advocate for the voice of the user. This position is very hands-on, we are looking for someone eager to gain experience and learn, but also someone who can adapt quickly and take initiative.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Leverage design thinking to develop user stories, user flows & logic
Understanding of information architecture, user needs & creative problem solving
Become familiar with Android OS and Material Design
Use Figma & other programs to develop wireframes and deliverables
Maintain high quality design standards and values throughout your work and process
Work collaboratively with team members to translate project requirements into meaningful interactive experiences
Be comfortable thinking outside your own perspective to better understand the needs and goals of the user, as well as the needs and goals of the business
Participate in user research, concept testing and usability testing
Develop and document detailed user experience specifications for highly interactive interfaces
