UVC LED Verification Intern (12 month)

POSTING

In this role, you will:

Support testing of UVC LEDs and related technologies at the device, array, and system levels.Assist with experimental setup, assembly, and execution of test procedures including electrical/thermal/optical testing.Develop and implement automation for test setups and data collection using MATLAB, Python, or similar tools.Design and perform tests to evaluate signal response, gain behavior, noise performance, and overall signal integrity.Analyze test data using MATLAB, Python, or comparable platforms.Document procedures, results, and observations clearlyCommunicate findings through reports and team updates.

Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:

Enrolled in 3rd year or higher of a post-secondary education in Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering degree.Electrical and mechanical aptitude.Demonstrated Python (or MATLAB / similar) programming skills and data analytic capabilities.Effective written and verbal communications skills.Able to work collaboratively with a team where striving for continuous improvement is expected and valued.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to support technical projects independently.
