**Job Summary**
The Office of Undergraduate Studies is seeking a self-starting, reliable, and creative Graphic Design Intern to produce engaging visual content that supports our academic programs, student services, and campus-wide outreach efforts.
This position focuses on creating high-performing visual content for print and social media and is ideal for a student with strong design instincts and good taste. You’ll work closely with the Digital Media Manager to bring ideas to life across social media, the Undergraduate Studies website, campus signage, and more.

**Responsibilities**
Key Responsibilities
+ Design graphics for social media posts, stories, and campaigns
+ Create flyers, posters, and branded materials for programs across Undergraduate Studies
+ Contribute to visual content for digital signage, website banners, and presentations
+ Design within established University of Utah brand guidelines, while exploring creative layout and typography
+ Stay up-to-date with design trends, particularly those related to higher education and student life
+ Assist with basic photography and editing for events and content capture
+ Support outreach efforts for student programs, events, and efforts
+ Organize and maintain digital assets and templates
+ Collaborate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
+ Participate in social content planning, scheduling, and publishing when needed
**Minimum Qualifications**
Must be a current U of U student.
**Preferences**
+ Currently enrolled undergraduate student with at least two semesters before graduation
+ Intermediate graphic design skills with working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
+ Proficient in Adobe Express or Canva
+ Basic photography skills (comfortable with mirrorless cameras)
+ Reliable transportation to attend on-campus events or meetings as needed
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
+ Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and accept feedback
+ Interest in design, branding, and student outreach
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience creating graphics and flyers
+ Interest in photography and experience editing photos
+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
+ Prior experience with print design and digital accessibility is a plus
