Utility Tech IV

General Laborer (Utility Tech) position requirements include, but are not limited to, general plant labor and clean-up of production areas; observe, monitor and report any conditions that could lead to product nonconformity or other irregularity; being trained in various entry-level production positions and fills in as needed during vacation, absences, and increased production demands. Operate small equipment; replace or assist other workers as needed or directed; and other duties as assigned by management. Millwright and/or Equipment Operators preferred.

 Responsibilities & Duties:

General labor and clean-up of production areasObserve, monitor, and report any conditions which could lead to product nonconformity.Operate heavy equipment/machinery in a safe and appropriate manner.Clean, inspect, and maintain/secure all equipment in compliance with MSHA, policies, and procedures.Replace or assist other workers as needed or directed.Other duties as assigned by management.
 

Job Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GEDWilling and able to work overtime and rotating shifts.Communicate effectively in both verbal and written form; perform basic math functions.Basic computer skillsPerform physical labor safely in noisy, dusty, and other harsh working conditions.
