Summary:
The Utility Incentive Project Manager at 7-Eleven is responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders to maximize 7-Eleven’s North American utility efficiency incentive program. This role requires strong relationship building skills and basic understanding of building systems such as Lighting, HVAC, Refrigeration, etc.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Ability to understand basic technical aspects of energy savings as related to incentives.
+ Strategic relationship building with public utility partners and external rebate consultants that will allow 7-Eleven to maximize rebate program results.
+ Oversight and management of incentive process, ensuring the accurate and timely submittal of all applications and supporting material required to capture utility incentives.
+ Development and execution of strategic plans that improve the business case analysis as it pertains to implementation of energy efficient projects.
+ Coordinate with internal teams such as Finance, Procurement, Construction, Stores, Facilities Maintenance to integrate the utility incentive program with project implementation schedule.
+ Collaborate with external partners and industry experts to stay informed on local, state, and federal programs designed to provide energy efficiency incentives to commercial customers.
+ Production of various energy reporting tools to present payback information to leadership.
+ Partner with Utility to Develop Incentive Programs to reduce company's utility expenses.
Education and Experience:
+ Education: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
+ Years of relevant work experience; 5 + years
Specific Knowledge and Skills:
+ Education: Bachelors/4-year degree
+ Experience: 5 years, Energy Conservation/Analytics, Project Management, Retail Operations
+ Knowledge of energy related engineering specifications for small box retail or similar applications.
+ Knowledge of Energy Star and DLC (Design Lights Consortium)
+ Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications and thorough working knowledge of database concepts and common applications.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
+ Strong leadership and time-management skills; the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities to achieve high levels of performance and deliver sustainable results.
