We’re looking for an experienced manufacturing engineer to support assembly operations for complex aerospace systems. This role focuses on optimizing production performance, improving tooling and layout, and driving process improvements across the shop floor.

What You’ll DoEnsure manufacturing sequences and product builds meet safety and quality standardsDesign and arrange tooling, machines, and factory layouts to improve efficiencyCollaborate with design engineers to enhance producibility and reduce build timesApply robotics, automation, and digital manufacturing solutions to upgrade processesInfluence engineering designs through line balancing and spec reviewsLead and participate in tool design reviews to reduce program costsUse data analytics and SPC to improve productivity, First Pass Yield (FPY), and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)Drive problem-solving initiatives and continuous improvement effortsContribute to PFMEA and control plan developmentCreate and maintain manufacturing documentation (routings, BOMs, visual aids, standard work)What You BringExperience with SAP and assembly operationsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsFamiliarity with adapting equipment design to production conditionsStrong communication skills and ability to follow work instructionsBackground in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvementProficiency in MS Office and manufacturing software toolsBasic understanding of robotics, automation, Six Sigma, and project managementBonus PointsExperience with digital manufacturing platformsHands-on knowledge of Red X or similar root cause analysis toolsAbility to multitask and manage resources effectivelyComfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
