**User Experience Research Specialist (Bothell, WA)** As a User Experience Research Specialist, you will contribute to the development of next-generation products and digital innovations for Philips Sonicare. In this role, you will oversee the operational aspects of user research within Research and Development, ensuring excellence in participant database management, participant experience, safety, quality, and compliance. **Your role:** + Support the Product Research Center team and other functions in conducting user research from study initiation to reporting insights/findings to closure. Review researchers study documentation for accuracy and compliance to procedures related to your role (participant eligibility, enrollment/consent, compensation, communication, etc.). Support research repositories and do lookback/literature reviews to help us learn common findings and insights across studies. + Prepare recruitment materials in accordance with study requirements. Recruit participants for studies by screening eligibility against protocol requirements, and act as point of contact for study participants and troubleshoot various issues during studies. + Maintain and expand the participant database using various methods (social media, referrals, professional organizations, trade shows, etc.). + Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) processes and applicable regulations and standards. Champion Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP). Maintain strict compliance to regulations and privacy laws. + Coordinate IRB submissions for clinical investigations. Consent participants and determine eligibility per protocol. In collaboration with Researchers and Product Research Operations Specialist, create and maintain the appropriate study documentation (Trial Master File and Site Regulatory File). + Challenge the status quo and lead continuous improvement initiatives in order to improve, standardize and document our ways of working in a way that enables timely delivery on business objectives, while ensuring compliance with medical device standards. **You're the right fit if:** + You’ve acquired 3+ years of experience in User Research or Clinical Research (preferably hands-on experience). + Your skills include: + Proven track record of compliance with Good Clinical Practice and Good Documentation Practice. + Proficient in Microsoft Office; Copilot, Power Automate, and Power BI are nice to have. + Experience with EyeQuestion, Veritas IRB, UserTesting.com, Tremendous, Smartsheet, Medidata, E-TMF, EDC preferred. + Experience in administrative duties including but not limited to: participant communication, scheduling, reminders and compensation, accurate accounting and reconciliation of participant compensation, develop and maintain a database of qualified participants both locally and nationally. + Strong understanding of (user and/or clinical) research processes. + Experience with continuous improvement projects. + Experience with medical devices, nice to have. + You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Administration, Healthcare, Sciences, Design, Human Factors, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, Sensory Science, Ergonomics, Human Computer Interaction, Engineering and/or Dentistry or a related field, OR 4+ years of equivalent experience. + You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position. + You have a strong drive to put the consumer and study participants first, and have the ability to communicate with study participants in a professional manner that represents the Philips brand. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
