 User Engagement Operations Manager - USER ADOPTION SERVICES 

You will be part of the IS/IT department. The IS/IT department is a team of 150 highly skilled and motivated professionals. We have embraced the Agile way of working and have 18 squads working in DevOps mode providing IT services to our 3000 Thales Netherlands colleagues.

About the role   
As a User Engagement Operations Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating our services in the area of Onboarding, Training, Knowledge Sharing and Communication for Thales NL IS/IT solutions. 

Keep our communication channels active and engaging

•    Maintain communication library and send info mails
•    Write Intranet articles announcing changes or promoting our solutions
•    Participate to awareness sessions

Maintain and improve our IS/IT Knowledge Base

•    Create, update and clean articles and ensuring Consistency & Quality
•    Ensuring comments are answered and participate to improvements
•    Promote the knowledge base

Connect with users across departments to understand their challenges

•    Support Service Owner with operational questions
•     Sit regularly with users from different departments
•     Gather questions or challenges, ventilate them and ensure follow-up 
•    Create support among stakeholders and employees about the implementation of new solutions
•     Maintain our Stakeholder map
•    Help develop and maintain strong relationships with our users.

Support operational excellence through dashboards and continuous improvements

•    Update our operations dashboards 
•    Regularly check with the team what improvements can be proposed

You have a User eXperience mindset and are focusing on providing our users with the best experience, while also focusing on continuously improving our services and digital workplace. While experience in a similar position is appreciated; we favor mindset over experience. 
 
About you 
• Bachelor's or master's degree  
• You are functional & service oriented  
•  You are able to communicate technical IT concepts in a way that is easily understood by end users.

•  You relate easily to user with different backgrounds and are able to adapt to specific user experience needs 
•  You are able to translate operational insights into strategic inputs (alignment with User Adoption Lead) 
•  You like to take ownership and are a self-starter
•  You are a strong communicator and motivator  

 
Success Criteria  

We are looking for someone who understands the importance of user experience and adoption. You have an affinity with the IT world and concepts. You have good analytical and communication skills. You are strong in taking initiative, building trust, and stakeholder management. 
 
This assignment will bring you right into the heart of the Digital Transformation within Thales.  Each change impacts people and how they do their job. While change happens one person at a time, project-level change management can help facilitate this change across groups. You will help us to improve our training services and rollout strategy with a high focus on change management and user adoption.
