Acura of Palm Beach is looking for an experienced Used Vehicle Buyer to help drive Precision Crafted Performance in our pre-owned inventory.

The Used Vehicle Buyer is responsible for sourcing high-quality pre-owned inventory through in-store appraisals and off-site auctions at Acura of Palm Beach, a Lithia & Driveway dealership. This role plays a critical part in driving profitability, inventory quality, and delivering Earned Customers for Life through exceptional customer experiences.

The Buyer coordinates wholesale auctions, attends off-site auctions, and appraises vehicles at the dealership. This position requires strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of vehicle condition and reconditioning costs, and the ability to make sound, data-driven purchasing decisions. Collaboration with technicians and internal departments is essential to ensure vehicles meet Acura standards and deliver premium value to our customers.

The Used Vehicle Buyer reports to the Group Leader, General Manager, and General Sales Manager.

Responsibilities & Skills

Appraise vehicles by assessing overall condition (mechanical, cosmetic, frame, and title status), negotiate pricing, and make financially sound purchasing decisions while ensuring timely processing of purchases.Excellent communication and customer service skillsData-driven pricing expertise using tools such as vAuto, Kelley Blue Book, Black Book, and NADARequires working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work independently
