In this role, you’ll play a key part in acquiring high-quality pre-owned vehicles that align with our brand standards and meet our customers’ needs. You'll be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing inventory from a variety of sources, while keeping a strong pulse on market trends and vehicle values.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all faces of acquiring a used-car inventory through, direct contacts, generated leads, off site auctions, dealers, internet inquiries from customers or any other available avenuesAppraise vehicles, understand vehicle condition, negotiate price, make financially sound purchasing decisions, and insures timely processing of all purchasesResponsible for understanding retail trends and participating in the inventory planning processDeliver a premium customer experience by responding to customer inquiries in a prompt, professional, accurate and courteous manner. This highly accountable position uses lead management toolsRequires working in a fast-paced team environment, being effective as a self-starter and working individually as needs dictateGenerate leads and create appointments by researching the available used car marketMeet car buying quotasUnderstand market tendencies and the changes to the trends in all geographic areas.
QualificationsExperience in automotive buying, appraisal, or wholesale is highly preferredStrong negotiation and decision-making skillsKnowledge of vehicle condition, values, and the used car marketplaceProficient with digital tools and auction platformsSelf-motivated and driven to achieve goals in a fast-paced environmentExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a high-performing teamStrong attention to detail and sense of urgency.Excellent communication skills both written and oralCritical Thinking – using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
