The Senior Manager, Architecture will be a key player for ensuring quality service and quality construction documents by managing the delivery of architectural prototype documents. Someone in this role will also mentor, onboard and evaluate the Prototype Architectural Consultants, while also developing action plans for improvement. The successful candidate for this role will have strong design and coordination skills and will be able to clearly articulate the recommended design decisions and aptly defend those recommendations. The role is located in Bentonville, Arkansas and reports to the Director, Architecture.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Real Estate - PMD to join our team! As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing our real estate portfolio, including evaluating properties for development or disposition, communicating with internal partners and customers, and negotiating short-term uses for properties. You will also be responsible for managing cost of construction, planning the resolution of real estate matters, and collaborating with government agencies to enhance our reputation and reduce corporate expenditures.

What You'll Do:

Manage real estate portfolio by evaluating properties for development or disposition, communicating and coordinating with internal partners and customers, and negotiating short-term uses for propertiesManage cost of construction by reviewing change orders for validity and fair market value, guiding negotiation of labor rates with contractors, and creating change order procedures and instructions in construction contractsPlan the resolution of real estate matters with consultants and collaborate with government agencies to enhance company reputation and reduce corporate expendituresManage deal negotiations and due diligence from site selection through the construction processDrive and implement compliance strategies by executing strategic plans and developing strategies for negotiations with government agenciesDrive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing and communicating business plans and priorities, and providing resources and supportProvide supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training, mentoring, and conducting regular performance evaluationsPromote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity

What You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field8+ years of experience in real estate development, construction, or a related fieldProven track record of successfully managing real estate portfolios and negotiating dealsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think strategically and make informed decisionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with internal partners and customersAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and tasksStrong leadership and management skills, with ability to supervise and develop a team of associatesExperience with construction contracts, change orders, and project managementFamiliarity with government agencies and regulations, with ability to navigate complex regulatory environmentsStrong business acumen and understanding of financial and operational metricsAbility to travel up to 20% of the time

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
