Senior Director, Operations, Risk and Payments
**Position Summary...** **What you'll do...** Walmart+ is a membership program that brings together valuable in-store and digital benefits like no other retailer can. We are looking for an experienced **Senior** **Director of Membership Risk and Payments** to join the Walmart+ business team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing scalable frameworks, policies, fraud and abuse controls, and seamless operational processes—all while ensuring an excellent, frictionless membership experience. You will also be responsible for building a payments conversion and experience strategy – optimizing for our recurring subscription platform and strengthening the payments experience for members. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Walmart to lead initiatives that prevent and mitigate fraud, reduce losses, and optimize payment systems. Your work will focus on creating and implementing and maintianing strategies that protect our members and drive strong business outcomes fundamental to the success of Walmart+. _You'll make an impact by:_ + Managing a team of professionals who support Walmart+ Policy, Fraud & Abuse, and Payments pillars + Experience in executing cross-functional initiatives, building strong relationships with a passion for risk, operations, payments and member experiences. + Driving improvements against KPIs such as fraud reduction and payment improvements + Partnering with various Enterprise teams such as Fraud, Compliance, Customer Care, Accounting, Legal, Treasury, Operations, Technology Product and Executive leaders to align on priorities, and ensure the team is executing projects based on expectations   + Collaborating with data, insights and member experience teams to prepare robust strategies set to improve our key metrics + Participating and leading presentations to senior leaders, recommend storylines and drive content development related to Member Operations  + Developing roadmap for improving business platform, fraud, payment and policies to be implemented that align with broader Business strategic goals + Analyzing existing policies and procedures to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or conflicts. + Ensuring the enforcement of the policy is being executed in a consistent manner + Supporting the development of new initiatives + Working with cross-functional teams to implement changes and triage feedback from Business teams and customers. _You'll wow us if…._ + You are collaborative and can work across various teams to influence outcomes  + You are highly organized and process oriented  + You have experience working on membership programs and/or operations    + You're highly skilled at delivering against multiple large scale, simultaneous projects  + Self-starter looking to help solve complex open-ended business questions with relevant data + You possess a great deal of energy and have a positive attitude  + You participate in strategic planning meetings to create alignment toward your organization's strategy  + You have deep expertise in working in a cross functional environment, often in complex organizational matrixes  + You have a deep understanding of Walmart's global network capabilities  + You have a passion for leading people + You demonstrate the ability to work in gray areas, deconstruct ambiguity and a self-starter who is able navigate challenges with minimal direction + You are someone who takes end-to-end ownership to independently lead your team and cross-functional partners through strategic high visibility projects. + You have deep expertise in working in a cross functional environment, often in complex organizational matrices.  + You display an ability to operate comfortably with ambiguity and lead the team through multiple complex initiatives simultaneously. + You’ve shown an ability to build relationships and influence without authority, manage upwards and obtain executive buy-in. + You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate and communicate at the level of detail depending on the audience, including an executive audience + You are structured in your thought process and can break down large problems and communicate them in a clear and succinct manner. + You’re someone who can execute, with strong discipline and organization skills; someone who gets things done. + You have strong analytical skills to interpret insights coming from various initiatives and have a mindset for continuous learning and improvement. + You’re stimulated by challenges and are ready to engage at Fortune 1 scale.
