Position Summary...What you'll do...Job Responsibilities: Coordinate the movement of trailers to designated locations in collaboration with Warehouse Management.Conduct thorough inspections of Walmart trucks and trailers to ensure optimal mechanical performance, safety standards, and emergency equipment readiness.Maintain proper fuel levels and perform regular trailer inventory checks.Ensure quality and compliance by maintaining accurate records, logs, and forms, including those required by the Department of Transportation (DOT).Operate tractor/trailer units safely, adhering to all safety requirements and placing trailers in designated locations.
Work Execution: Complete work assignments and prioritize tasks using company policies, data, and available resources.Collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations.Communicate progress and relevant information effectively.Identify and recommend improvement opportunities; adapt to changes and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.30 - $25.30* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
