Walmart Connect is seeking an experienced Director of Emerging Technology Partnerships to build strategy and oversee the execution of Walmart Connect’s Emerging Technology Partners. You’ll be a manager who contributes to a high-growth team in a business that is paving the way for scaled partner support for our high potential partners. We are looking for demonstrated performance in a constantly changing, ambiguous environment, requiring problem-solving and collaborative leadership with limited oversight.

The Director will develop and oversee strategy and execution for the Emerging Technology Partnerships team focused on prospecting new partners and incubating high potential partners and direct advertisers. These partners and direct advertisers play a key role in diversifying services offered to our advertisers. This role plays will help to define how to accelerate partner growth while focusing on scaled partner management and support.. This role will work cross-functionally internally on execution while also serving as the senior representative for C-suite at partners within their book of business. S/he will lead a lean team in a business that is experiencing rapid and dramatic growth.

Responsibilities

Serve as the lead strategist for Walmart Connect’s Emerging Technology Partner team to drive adoption of products and ad spendIncrease team reach, impact and effectiveness by identifying opportunities to automate and scaleCoordinate and collaborate across teams to drive high impact initiatives and opportunities to accelerate partner and advertiser growthDrive product adoption and provide ongoing education about new and existing Walmart Connect ad products across Emerging Technology PartnersConsult with Walmart Connect sales and account management teams whose advertisers are utilizing partnersBe the advocate for Sales to both assist in the development of growth strategies for partners, advertisers and suppliersWork with Sales Enablement teams to set goals, actively measure impact of initiatives and ensure alignment with broader business teamsWork closely with our product team on product requirements, vision and roadmap to support scaled partner management and supportTrack, analyze, and report key quantitative metrics both day-to-day and in quarterly business review formatIdentify trends, evolving needs, and resources to improve efficiency

Minimum Qualification

15+ years of client-facing experience in business development, partnerships, and/or product management for search, ecommerce marketplaceAbility to develop and get alignment for strategic plans in a new spaceAbility to translate complexity into action plans and communication in a succinct mannerAbility to work cross-functionally with peers and managers, both internally/externallyExperience leading performing teams and mentoring othersHigh analytical skill setAbility to achieve and exceed goals and deadlinesProject management experience, including multitasking to lead and execute multiple projects in parallelBA/BS with excellent academic performance (or equivalent experience)

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
