Adecco is hiring immediately for a Part Time Lab Technician with a local client in Hillsboro, OR. Pay is $25.00/hr - $26.00/hr. Duties: · Shift: Day Shift - 3 days/week; 20 hours · Position is for part time (20 hr/wk) hardware support in Hillsboro OR laser lab supporting optical engineering team. · Support engineering team in hardware Integration, calibration and qualification. · Troubleshoot hardware test stands. · Qualify Module performance to spec (on & off tool). · Support R&D development (C&F) activities. · Interface with building facilities, shipping and receiving, and BU product safety as needed. · Test stands may consist of optomechanical devices, electrical controls, interlocks, and safety systems, cooling and gas systems, system software and support equipment. · Role will be expected to perform hardware installation, setup and calibration, routine maintenance, and first order troubleshooting and repair. Requirements: · Must be detail oriented and should have a high capacity to operate and troubleshoot complex systems. · Candidate should have knowledge of electrical and electronic testing equipment and measurement and must be able to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings. · Should have experience troubleshooting and maintaining semiconductor equipment, or equipment of similar complexity. · Role will require strict adherence to lab safety procedures.
