Job Summary: We are seeking highly motivated and experienced professionals for the role of US Audit Consultant / Manager. This position is ideal for individuals with 3-15 years of experience in US auditing standards and practices. Key Responsibilities:
Consultant Level:
· Conduct audits in compliance with US GAAP, PCAOB standards, and other relevant frameworks.
· Assist in planning and executing audit engagements, including risk assessments and scoping.
· Analyze financial statements and internal controls to identify areas for improvement.
· Prepare clear and concise documentation and audit reports.
· Communicate effectively with clients to address audit findings and recommendations.
· Stay updated on changes in accounting and auditing standards.
Manager Level:
· Lead and manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
· Develop and execute engagement plans, including defining scope, budgeting, and resource allocation.
· Supervise and mentor audit teams, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth.
· Review audit workpapers, findings, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and addressing complex issues.
· Drive initiatives to enhance audit processes and implement best practices.
· Provide thought leadership on emerging audit trends and regulatory updates.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is required).
· 3-15 years of experience in US auditing, with a strong understanding of US GAAP and PCAOB standards.
· Proven track record in handling audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.
· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficiency in audit tools and software.
Additional Requirements for Manager Level:
· Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing teams and mentoring junior staff.
· Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
· Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in a Big 4 or large public accounting firm.
· Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
