Role Overview

Prepare laboratory size catalysts using specialized equipment for mixing, extruding, drying, and calcining. Prepare small catalyst samples for analytical inspections and performance testing. Prepare complex metal solutions and perform metal separation and purification procedures by solvent extraction. Conduct physical tests on laboratory and commercial catalysts. Utilize general wet chemistry methods. Maintain chemical inventory and catalyst storage inventory. Report data in written reports. Ensure a safe, clean, and well-organized lab that meets all safety and environmental regulations.

Skills & Qualifications

Biochemistry: Strong knowledge of biochemical processes. Chemistry: Proficient in chemical principles and laboratory techniques. Chemical Safety: Understanding of safety protocols and compliance. Wet Chemistry Procedures: Experience in practical chemistry techniques. Analytical Techniques: Familiarity with various analytical methods. Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to operate and maintain lab-scale industrial equipment. Microsoft Suite Proficiency: Competence in using Microsoft Office applications. Computer Controlled Equipment: Experience with automated lab equipment.

Education & Experience

Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Natural Sciences, Earth Sciences, or related field. Minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience.

Pay & Benefits
