Join a leading energy company as a Mechanical Technician III, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting innovative research activities in automotive engine performance and fuel evaluation.

Role Overview

Operate automotive test engines and vehicles according to established specifications. Monitor operations and adjust control systems to ensure compliance with specifications. Diagnose problems and perform repairs on test engines and control systems. Maintain adequate fuel supply for all engines and vehicles. Work rotating shifts (Day, Swing, and Grave) as part of a dedicated team.

Skills & Qualifications

Reliability: Strong mechanical aptitude essential for troubleshooting and repairs. Mechanical Systems: Experience with automotive engines or mechanical systems. Process Control: Ability to monitor and adjust process control systems. Basic Math Skills: Proficient in algebra for operational calculations. Teamwork: Excellent collaboration skills within a technical environment.

Education & Experience

Experience: 3-5 years in a technical environment with automotive engines or mechanical systems. Training: Formal training in automotive technology, electronics, or automated control systems preferred. Certification: ASE Certified or similar certification in automotive mechanics is advantageous.

Pay & Benefits

Competitive pay rates: ST max - $42.85, ST Mid Shift max - $44.13, ST Night Shift max - $45.84 (shift differentials apply). Potential for contract extension based on performance.
