consultations including assessment workups triage emergency work ins and other patient care activities Position specializes in treating patients with kidney stones and other general urologic conditionsObtains and documents health history performs and documents physical exam and orders and interprets diagnostic testsProvides counseling to patients regarding diagnosis and expected course of treatmentCollaborates with physicians to provide appropriate direct care interventions within scope of practiceCollects organizes records and discusses data as appropriate and uses sound clinical judgment based on best practice standards and evidenced based medicinePrescribes pharmaceuticals according to patient needs and conducts appropriate patient follow up outreachEnsures timely retrieval of laboratory and ancillary studies and diagnostic consultation reportsConsults with appropriate internal and external staff to make appropriate referrals for acute chronic and preventive patient careExcellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate in other languages highly desirableAbility to communicate technical information clearly to patients of all
