will work in an ambulatory setting and will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with genitourinary cancer and general urological conditionsmiddot Provides direct patient care in office consultations including assessment workups triage emergency work ins and other patient care activities middot Obtains and documents health history performs and documents physical exam and orders and interprets diagnostic testsmiddot Provides counseling to patients regarding diagnosis and expected course of treatmentmiddot Collaborates with physicians to provide appropriate direct care interventions within scope of practicemiddot Collects organizes records and discusses data as appropriate and uses sound clinical judgment based in best practice standards and evidence based on medicinemiddot Prescribes pharmaceuticals according to patient needs and conducts appropriate patient follow up outreachmiddot Ensures timely retrieval of laboratory and ancillary studies and diagnostic consultation reportsmiddot Consults with appropriate internal and external staff to make appropriate referrals for acute chronic and preventive caremiddot Coordinates patient care and visits with appropriate clinical and non clinical staffShift Full Timemiddot Monday ndash Friday Hartford County regionmiddot Travel may be required during the onboarding period for training outside
