Send CURRENT resume to: chnaso @ amergis . com Duties + Support classroom teachers by implementing lesson plans focused on literacy, math, and social-emotional learning. + Assist students with understanding instructional material, including special education and children with disabilities. + Help manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement. + Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, Montessori methods, or preschool readiness. + Supervise students during instructional time, recess, lunch, and other activities to ensure safety and engagement. + Collaborate with staff to develop curriculum adaptations for students with autism or other special needs. + Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and childcare routines such as toddler care or daycare activities. Requirements + Prior experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, preschool, private schools, or similar environments. + ALL ECE - Applicants MUST HAVE a minimum of 6 units ECE or Childhood Development + SAUSD - Live scan AFTER Full Placement - Mandatory + Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development, and classroom management techniques. + Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, parents, and colleagues. + Experience with lesson planning and curriculum development tailored to diverse learners’ needs. + Familiarity with working with children with autism or disabilities is highly desirable. + Ability to handle behavior management challenges positively and professionally. + Must be reliable, patient, energetic, and committed to fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere.
