Short Description

Performs clinical support in an urgent care setting and participates in front desk and registration activities to ensure exceptional patient flow/care and optimize throughput of patients.This individual will have the unique opportunity to assist in the development and operations of the Cooper Urgent Care Center.This model focuses on the acute/immediate care needs for unscheduled care.Excellent customer service, interpersonal and clinical skills are required.References in these areas are a must  
Experience Required

2 years experience with front desk operations and/or as medical assistant in a physician’s practice or 2 years experience as a Critical Care Technician or above.

Other qualifications:

Excellent oral and written communication skills, computer literate, comfortable with Microsoft Office software.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

License/Certification Requirements

Current CMA or RMA – Certified or Registered Medical Assistant License or 2 years experience as a Critical Care Technician or equivalent.

BLS required
