URBN is searching for a Transportation Analyst! This role works closely with functional owners and process users to ensure effective and efficient processes and systems are in place. The analyst role will support the transportation team by utilizing data to help drive new processes and continuous improvement. This role will be accountable for Transportation Analytics and Reporting for retail and digital outbound channels.
Role Responsibilities Applies knowledge of logistics and transportation methodologies in support of organizational objectivesMonitor metrics, identify areas of improvement, and support the development of action plansOwn the month-end/ R&O/P&L reporting, allocation logic, and carrier invoicing processesProvide operational commentary to assist in financial reporting and storytellingCreate and maintain process documentation for new and existing processesEffectively communicate with all levels of internal stakeholders and external services providersMonitor project progress, identify and escalate potential project risks and areas of opportunitySupport the procurement process by developing RFP templates and data analysis that results in provider selection and implementation Role Qualifications Minimum 1-3 years of supply chain or transportation related experience preferred Excellent quantitative and analytical skills Drives for results while displaying enthusiasm, shows commitment to goals and is relentless in pursuing resultsDeadline driven and displays a sense of urgencyExceptional knowledge and proficiency in desktop software applications; Excel, PowerPointPossess the skill to learn new applications and transportation related systems quickly Able to work efficiently both individually and as a team memberExcellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skillsStrong interpersonal and analytical skills, familiarity with computer systems Must be self-motivated and goal oriented Has keen strategic agility; solves tough problems#LI-MH3
