Job DescriptionUpstream fermentation processes to produce biotherapeuticsCell culture and aseptic technique including setting up bioreactorsCleaning, Steam in Place, and autoclaving of equipmentBasic analytics and data acquisitionMonitoring and replenishing lab reagents and solutionsMaintain, calibrate, and operate instrumentation in the laboratoryDocument work as required for GMP complianceExecute work in accordance with standard operating procedures, with attention to detail, and with strong organizational skillsInteract effectively with peers and leaders as part of a multi-disciplinary team

QualificationsHigh school diploma with 2-5 years’ experience, Associate’s degree with 1-3 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years of experience, or equivalentExcellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures to generate reproducible data in a controlled laboratory environmentAbility to routinely lift 50 poundsExperience in a biopharmaceutical environment and industrial fermentation scale-up a plusExcellent skills in Microsoft Office, data analysis software, and other related applicationsAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policiesAbility to think critically and demonstrate troubleshooting/problem solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

What to Expect in the Hiring Process:

Additional Details: 

The position is full-time, first shift, Monday through Friday. Candidates must be flexible to adapt to schedule changes requiring shift changes and/or weekend work, and overtime may be required as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Andover, MA, are encouraged to apply.
