Job Description:
The ideal candidate will support SimIS’ unmanned systems portfolio development through technical documentation, solution design, and capability analysis. This role combines technical expertise in unmanned systems with program management support, requiring proficiency in 3D printing/FDM software, requirements development, and risk assessment to ensure timely delivery of unmanned systems solutions.

The candidate performs the following specific assignments:Prepares technical documentation and designs solutions using 3D printing FDM software for unmanned systems developmentDevelops capability requirements and identifies gaps, risks, and solutions for unmanned systems portfoliosConducts research and analysis to support unmanned capabilities development and program planningDrafts capability documents including CDDs, COEs, requirements memorandums, technical papers, and meeting minutesSupports development of capability roadmaps and DOTMLPF-P assessments for unmanned capabilitiesAdvises Program Manager on safe and legal execution of corporate funds within commodity areasAssists with Tracking and balances cost, schedule, and performance metrics within assigned commodity areasIdentifies programmatic risks and executes appropriate risk mitigation measuresEngages with industry partners to understand current and future unmanned systems technologiesCoordinates Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) across test/evaluation, engineering, logistics, and finance disciplinesFacilitates technical activities to meet long- and short-range project goals within resource constraintsReviews in-process testing results and plans future test requirements for hardware/software quality assuranceConducts critical technical analyses of unmanned systems, subsystems, and components against operational requirementsCreates and modifies presentation documentation using Microsoft Office and other information systemsExperience Required:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field education may be substituted for experience3-5 years of experience in unmanned systems, technical program support, or related fieldExperience with 3D printing and FDM software applicationsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and technical documentationExperience Desired:Experience with JCIDS processes and documentationKnowledge of Program Objective Memorandum (POM) processesExperience with requirements generation and capability gap analysisUnderstanding of DOTMLPF-P framework and acquisition lifecycle managementExperience in data management and knowledge management practicesBackground in unmanned systems design, testing, or operationsExperience coordinating with multi-disciplinary technical teamsSpecial Skills/Knowledge/Training Required/Desired:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesProficiency with CAD software and 3D printing technologiesAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail and technical accuracyBenefits:Medical, Dental, and VisionShort-Term Disability (at no cost to you) & Long-Term DisabilityLife Insurance401(k) Savings PlanFlex Spending AccountsTuition Assistance ProgramProfessional DevelopmentPaid Time Off (PTO)11 Federal Holidays each yearSimIS, Inc. is an EOE / M / F / Disability / VET / Drug Free Employer
