As a  University Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments at the University Main Campus

Competitive hourly wage of $16.50 + comprehensive benefits We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Flexible schedules with various shifts available Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Full time permanent position Monday-Friday 2330-0730 (must be able to work all shifts) Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities for University Surveillance Security Guard Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies Conduct patrols with using our G-track scanning device and invetigate incidents or hazards with detailed reporting  Qualifications for University Surveillance Security Guard Fluent in french and english Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid Manitoba security license  First aid certification is an asset Strong report writing skills Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus Strong proficiency with technology Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
