As a University Campus Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in University environments

Hourly wage of $ 19.43 + comprehensive benefits We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Permanent Positions: Monday to Friday (1500-2300) Flexible schedules with various shifts available Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities for University Campus Security Guard Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams Write incident reports and communicate security concerns Deter criminal activity. Guards may be expected to engage in visible deterrence through their presence and by adhering to security procedures. security presence Conduct Daily Reports and Incident Reports and send it via emails Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches Point of contact with authorities and emergency services Check all doors and ensure they are closed and not jimmied anyway to allow for entrance.  Qualifications for University Campus Security Guard Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid Manitoba security license First aid certification an asset Exceptional customer service skills Proficient in basic phone & computer skills Good verbal and written communication skills Previous experience in the security industry (asset) Leadership and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a stressful environment
